He was predeceased by: his parents, Mckinnon Locklear and Delphia Locklear; his children, Ron Locklear, Adam Locklear, Ken Oxendine and Nickie Locklear; and his siblings, William Locklear and Katie Mae Locklear.
He is survived by: his son Gary Lynn Locklear of New York; his siblings, Delton Locklear of Red Springs, Curtis (Rita Locklear), Bonnie (Zeto Locklear), Bertha (James Morgan), Kinnon Locklear of Lumberton and Terry Locklear of Lumberton; and his close friend Branagan Locklear. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
