He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Henderson and Sim Maynor; his wife Joyce Hunt Maynor; his daughter Anita Jane Maynor; his grandson Gary Wayne Maynor, Jr.; his siblings, Elsie Jacobs, Senora Henderson, Anniebelle Locklear, Alford Henderson, Willie J. Locklear and Warner Tom Henderson; and his son-in-law James Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Wayne Maynor (Regenia) of Lumberton, NC, Dorothy McLamb (Roy) of Linden, NC, Wanda Allen of Saginaw, Betty Arthur (Bill) of Spearfish, Sharon Casto (Ed) of Erwin, NC and Kimberly Emanuel (Junior) of Red Springs, NC; and his sisters, Rency Godwin and Polly Stewart. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; and 5 great great-grandchildren, along with a host of relatives and friends.
