He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Locklear and Zelma Locklear of Wakulla, NC.; and his brothers, Sherwood, James Lewis and Kernice Locklear.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Locklear; his sons, Gavin and Garrett Locklear; and his siblings, Brantley Locklear (Beverly) of Lumberton, Milton "Larry" Locklear of Red Springs, Orlinda Locklear (Sanford) and Deborah Locklear of Lumberton.
