She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Bissell; and her siblings, Ledford Parnell, William "Billy" Parnell, Elton Parnell, Mildred Wilkins, Alma Meeks, Dorothy Baxley and Peggy Wilkins.
She is survived by: her son Greg Cain (Rita) of Rome; her grandchildren, Sarah Pearson, Nikki Keating and Justin Smith (April); her great grandchildren, Harrison Keating, Josie Smith and Jedidiah Smith; her sister Mary Stevens of Raleigh; and her sister-in-law Freida Stephens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southeastern Hospice House, 1100 Pine Run Drive, Lumberton, N.C., 28358.
