She was predeceased by: her grandchildren, Jamie L. Oxendine and James R. Sanderson; and her siblings, Panthie Oxendine, Louie Oxendine and Vernell Oxendine.
She is survived by: her husband James William Cummings; her children, Rhonda McDonald (Johnny) of Lumberton, NC, Michael Baxley (Tonya) of Pembroke, NC and Cody C. Baxley of Grand Forks; her siblings, Freddie Hall of Lumberton, Stevie Oxendine of Pembroke, NC and Retha Locklear of Lumberton, NC; and her aunt Lettie. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.
