She was predeceased by: her husbands, Bernice Shaw and Roscoe Clewis; her sons, James Shaw and Maurice Shaw; her granddaughter Tara Shaw Sharpe; and her siblings, Jack Bass, Garry Bass, Talton "Dock" Bass, Mortie Jones and Viola Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Smith (Frankie), Ray Shaw (Susan), Ann Warrington and Craig Shaw (Jean). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, N.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Lumberton Baptist Church, 2320 W. Fifth St., Lumberton, N.C., 28358.
