She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus S. Wilkes and Ruth Lee Wilkes of Lumberton, NC.; and her brothers, Lee Wilkes, Robert Wilkes and Frank Wilkes.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Kennedy; her children, Connor Kennedy (Anne) of Winston-Salem, NC, Ralph Kennedy of Chicago, IL and Ruth Kennedy of Winston-Salem, NC; and her grandsons, Jim Kennedy of Durham, NC and Chris Kennedy of Winston-Salem, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Covid guidelines will be observed.
