He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Cummings and Eva Mae Clark Cummings; his children, William Cummings and Latasha Floyd; and his siblings, John Cummings, James Cummings, Charlie Cummings, Lorianne Brooks, Mary Sue Griffen and Betty Lou Locklear.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Cummings; his children, Anthony W. Cummings (Gloria) of Lumberton, Regina Locklear (Dennis) of Lumberton, Melissa Jones (Randolph) of Lumberton and Jillian Hardin of Lumberton; and his brothers, Carl Cummings of McDonald and Hardy Cummings of Fairmont. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
