He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Smith and Lela Kinlaw Smith; and his siblings, LeRoy Smith, Milton Smith, Billy Smith, Jerry Smith and Melba Broadaway.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy O. Smith; his son Anthony Smith (Pam) of Lumberton, NC; his grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Meaghan Sampson (Justice) and Adalyn Smith; and his sister Helen Wilkins (David) of Lumberton, NC..
Due to COVID restrictions, a brief funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 2:00 PM at First Street True Holiness Church, 902 E. 1st Street in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. George Connor officiating.
