He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wallace Harold Kinlaw Sr. and Mildred P. Kinlaw; and his sisters, Tana K. Mercer (Brian) of Lumberton and Sheila Harper of Gastonia. He was also cherished by nieces, nephew, great nieces, and great nephews.
