She was predeceased by: her husband Rufus Ernest "Buddy" Holmes; and her brothers, Robert "Tommy" Thompson and Richard "Dickie" Brumbles. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Shayne Holmes (Misty) of Holden Beach and Tammy Marie Taylor (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Nicole Ivey, Makenze Ivey, Christian Turbeville, Madison Holmes, Cameron Holmes and Charlee King; her great grandchildren, Caison Rozier, Landon Strickland and Channing Teele Strickland; and her brother Robert "Bobby" Sessions (Pat) of Lumberton.
