He is survived by: his sister Lue Ellen Ivey of Lumberton, NC; his niece Wanda Allen; his stepchildren, Paulette Wallace and John Wayne Smith; and his granddaughter Brenda Smith. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
