He was predeceased by: his children, Willie Lee Wilkins, Dwayne Wilkins and Jennifer; his parents, Jonah Wilkins, Sr. and Martha L. Wilkins; and his brothers, Jonah "Bun" Wilkins Jr. and Joseph Wilkins.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lloyd "Duke" Wayne Hammond, Zackery Lakota Hammond, Jadrin Xavier Hammond, Harmony Love Hammond of Lumberton and Hailey Wilkins of Lumberton; and his sisters, Mary Hayes of Jamestown, Lizar Wilkins of St Paul's, NC, Betty Norton of St Paul's, NC and Katrina Campbell of St Paul's, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
