He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Hunt Sr. and Ida Mae Cummings Hunt of Lumberton; his brothers, Robert "Anthony" Hunt and Leo Hunt; his niece Leandra "Dana"; and his sister-in-law Connie Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Hunt; his children, Jason Hunt (Chelse) of Red Springs and Jessica Hunt of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Jamien Scott, Hayden Scott, Lania Hunt, Hayley Scott and Kinley Hunt; his siblings, Leon Hunt of Lumberton, Mary Bonds of Jacksonville, FL and Betty Bumgardner (Frank "Buzz" Bumgardner) of Gastonia; his sister-in-law Jean Hunt of Lumberton; and his siblings' children, Mark Hunt, Michelle Hunt, Leann Hunt and Stephanie Boldin. He is also survived by eight nieces; four nephews along with a host of relatives and friends.
