It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Burr of Lumberton, North Carolina, born in Chesterfield, South Carolina, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lester and Lena Rivers Burr; and his wife Dorothy Cuthrell. He is survived by: his children, Salena Burr of Lumberton, Brenda B. Cox (Ricky) of Lumberton, Fred L. Burr of Hope Mills and Harvey Johnson of California; his grandchildren, Angela Parker, Tollie Rowell (Sarah), Carla Jacobs (Corey), DeAnn Mello (Scott), Kristy Miller (Mitch), Stanley Rogers, Jeannette Springer (Michael) and Joey Johnson (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Alyssa Cottrell, Emily Cottrell, Douglas Cottrell, Jr., Maria Locklear, Koa Jacobs, Carter Mello and Olivia Mello.
