He is survived by: his children, Jerry Dewley Ashley (Wanda) of Wilmington, NC, Gary Lane Ashley (Betsy) of Hampstead, NC and Jane Ashley Smith (Glenn) of Proctorville, NC; his grandchildren, Russell, Jason, Alison and Tyler; and his great grandchildren, Dalton, Jacob, Lane, Abigial, Parker, Lillie Kate and Benjamin.
