He is survived by: his sons, Charles A. Stewart, Jr. (Sarah), Philip and Serita Stewart; his grandchildren, David J. Stewart, Andrew W. Stewart (Brittany), Anna-Beth Williams (Jordan) and Daniel R. Stewart (Chelsea); his great grandchildren, Sawyer Walker Stewart, Sadie Rose Stewart, Tucker Reid Stewart and Hallie Ruth Williams; Barbara Hill.
