She is survived by: her children, Natalia Maria Castillo of Sullivans Island, SC and Steven Anthony Castillo (Robin Braly Castillo) of Durham, NC; her granddaughters, Bailey Maria, Anne Marsh and Carmen "Davie" Castillo; and her sister Gertrude "Tootsie" Wood of Durham.
