She was predeceased by: her parents, Chesley Mitchell and Lucille East Mitchell; her siblings, Mary Jane Shelton, Vivian Nickelston, Vada Vernon and Berkley Mitchell; and her half-brother Ernest Mitchell.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Reid; her children, Cindy Reid Lemons, Jimmy Reid (Katie) and Leslie Reid (Tavo); her grandchildren, Rebecca, Jamie, Jonathan (Benjamin Reid), Jason Lemons (Sylvia) and Cristina (Sophia "Muffin" Cabriales); and her siblings, Jimmy Mitchell, Betty Joan Sanderson, Virginia Hall and Sarah Swaffer (Pat Frye). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
