He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arrington Gentry and Myrtle Ada Sharpe Gentry. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Burris Gentry; his children, Dean Gentry (Julie) of Eden and Beth Gentry Bottoms (Mike) of Madison; his grandsons, William and Christopher Bottoms; his sister Pat; his cousins, Dean and Iris Sharpe; and his sister-in-law Patricia Gentry.
