We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2020, at the age of 77, Brenda Joyce Shelton of Madison, North Carolina, born in Stokes, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Merritt and Willie Elizabeth Yarbrough Joyce; her husband James E. Shelton Jr.; and her son-in-law Doug Flippin. She is survived by: her daughter Connie Shelton Flippin; her sisters, Ellen Joyce and Shirley Hill; her grandchildren, Christopher Flippin and Brittany Flippin Browder (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Nathanael Flippin, Jaxon, Halle and Cora Browder.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
