It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darnell Edwards Roberts (Madison, North Carolina), born in Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on October 3, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert D. Edwards and Evelyn Cornelia Stanley Edwards; her son Trai Shields; and her brother Robert Dorn Edwards. She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Shields Moore (Tim) of Martinsville, VA and Blair Roberts Mabe (Dwayne) of Stokesdale; her stepson Toby Roberts (Nikki) of Stokesdale; her sisters, Seldon Edwards Goard (Frank) of Martinsville, VA and Regina Edwards Jadro of Martinsville, VA; her grandchildren, Courtney, Conner Mabe, Jeremy Moore (Bre), Ben Moore (Michelle), Seth, Dawson Moore, Mamie Howard, Ceaira Woodle, Shayla, Jessie, Toby Jr., Nevaeh and Raylen Roberts; and her great grandchildren, Adylana Easter and Calum Moore.
Social distancing guidelines will be observed and face coverings are encouraged.
