He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Earl Via and Myrtle Joyce Via; and his siblings, Lester Earl Via, Jr. and Cindy Lou Via. He is survived by: his daughter Susan V. Corum (Benny); his siblings, Larry Via (Christine), William Via, Bluford Via (Wendy), Ruth Hopper (Paul Tilley), Frances Pugh, Bonnie Collins Cisneros, Patricia Lester (Charlie) and Deborah Chaney (Benny); and his sister-in-law Inez Dunlap Via.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel, Inc. 127 Ellisboro Road, Madison, NC 27025, to assist the family with expenses.
