We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2019, at the age of 90, Dorothy Joyce Sullivan (Madison, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Earnest Alexander Sullivan; her son Ray Sullivan; and her siblings, Berlie Smith, Leonie Vernon, Raymond Joyce, Leo Joyce and Louis Joyce.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Elkins of Siler City and Bobby Sullivan (Missy) of Mayodan; her daughter-in-law Lynn Sullivan of Mayodan; her siblings, Nellie Shinall of Mayodan, Barbara Oakley of Mayodan and Paul Joyce (Jeanette) of Mayodan; and her grandchildren, Loretta Kivett, Amy Elkins, Chasity Isley and Dylan Sullivan. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
