She was predeceased by: her husband Aubrey Aldean Pyrtle; her son Keith Pyrtle; and her brothers, Otis, Harvey and Ernest Smith.
She is survived by: her parents, Columbus Derry Smith and Dora Snider Smith; her son Dwan D. Pyrtle (Rosemary); her grandson George O. Pyrtle; her sister Esteen S. Cardwell; and her sibling's children, Dwight Cardwell (Teresa), Janice Smith and Debra "Debby" Cardwell.
