He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur and Ocie McKencie Ealey; and his sister Virginia Hackworth (Payne). He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Rochester Ealey; his daughter Tara Ealey Frederick (Bill); his stepchildren, Tammy Sprouse Israel (Dan) and Joey Sprouse; his siblings, Billie Frances Shaw of Ruth Ealey, Grace Helton (Tim) and Phillip Ealey (Faye); and his grandchildren, Ryan Frederick (Naome), Bradley Frederick, Alicia Sprouse and Jake Israel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
