With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace Knight Cayton of Madison, North Carolina, born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Thomas Knight and Cassie Louise Lester Knight; her husband James L. Cayton, Sr.; her brother T. L. Knight; and her pet Roscoe.
She is survived by: her children, James L. Cayton, Jr. (Sherri) and Jill Cayton Stovall; her son-in-law Jeff; her grandchildren, Evan Cayton (Jessica), Walker Cayton (Megan), Trevor and Bailey Corns; her siblings, Paul Knight, Becky Knight (Donnie) and Janice Dickson (Lonny); her pet Cooper; her aunt Estelle Gunter; and her close friends, Marie Fox, Dr. Donald Moore, Jamie Bullins, Summer Dunlap, Nancy, Ann, Blake and Kayley. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
