He was predeceased by: his parent William McKinley Tweed; his wife Jeanette Shelton Tweed; and his sisters, Monella Czerniak, Savonia Cantrell, Cleo Blake, Millure Gentry, Inez Franklin and Etta Hensley.

He is survived by: his parent Della Ray Tweed.
