With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ida Mae Lawson Sizemore (Madison, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on September 13, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Walter Lawson and Thelma Carter Lawson; her husband Charlie "Watson" Sizemore; her brothers, Edward and Paul Lawson; her grandmother Gray Lawson; and her half-brother John Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Dodson (Bo), Lynn Purdy (Odell Nelson) and Mandy Sizemore; her granddaughters, Peggy Lawson (Brent), Tara Shelton (Buck), Brittany Dodson and Lara Beth Sizemore; her great grandchildren, Hannah Lawson and Courtney Shelton; and her siblings, Hubert Lawson (Vera) and Brenda Lawson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
