She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Case and Minnie Gann Case; her husband Efferlan Roscoe "Shike" Vernon, Sr.; and her siblings, Martin Lee Case, Lloyd Roy Case and Audrey C. Shelton.
She is survived by: her children, Roscoe Vernon (Hazel), Terry Vernon (Donna), Dwala V. Higgins (Chuck) and Barbara V. Joyce; her grandchildren, Tammy Lovette, Darren Lovette (Korie), Heather Lynn (Gabe), Charlie Higgins, III, Paige Bodine, Ann Vernon, Stephanie Joyce, Allison Douglas (Matt), Bret Hall, Ephraim and Trevor Vernon; her great grandchildren, Ashton Beckum (Colin), Sydney Marbert, Samantha Kendrick (Brandon), Dylan Brim, Talon, Jaden Bodine, Jackson, Riley Lynn, Katherine and Brock Lovette; and her great great grandchildren, Harper Kendrick, Taylor and Cameron Beckum.
