With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Inice Nelson Joyce Stewart of Madison, North Carolina, born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2021 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parent Troy; her husband Russell Stewart; her brothers, Hassel Nelson and Wade Nelson (Ruby Nelson); and her grandson Christopher Joyce.
She is survived by: her former husband David Joyce; her children, Vonnie Joyce Guthrie (Tom), Becky Joyce Tessau (Ryan), James "Ronnie" Joyce and Anthony "Donald" Joyce (Tonda); her sisters, Beulah Vernon, Sadie Faust, Fay Gann and Shelby Corum; and her grandchildren, Chad Myers, Leann Myers, Jamie Joyce (Angel), Ardena Joyce Burris (Walcey), Troy Joyce, Dee Joyce (Kim), Michael Joyce, Bobby Joyce and Eric Tessau (Angie). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
