It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irma Louise Fisher Payne of Madison, North Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Fisher and Nell Roberts Fisher; her husband Harry Payne; and her siblings, Riley Fisher, Nancy Jo Edwards, Selma Worley, Thelma Freeman and Janice Cantrell.

She is survived by: her niece Teresa Worley Nix. She is also survived by cousins, and many beloved nephews and nieces.
