He is survived by: his parent Tennie Chandler Shelton; his wife Shirley Norton Shelton; his daughter Jackie Dejesus; and his siblings, Grace Pruitt, Marie Gunter, Don Shelton (Verlyn) and James Shelton (Colleen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
