With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Donald Reid Sr. of Madison, North Carolina, born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on September 19, 2020 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zackie Reid and Mildred Throckmorton Reid; his wife Annie Ruth Mitchell Reid; and his sisters, Jean Tuttle, Nina Johnson and Loretta Fay Reid.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Reid (Katie), Leslie Reid (Tavo) and Cindy Lemons; his sisters, Maybell Hill, Jane Tuttle (Howard), Gloria Freeman and Irma Coley; and his grandchildren, Jamie Reid, Jonathan Reid, Benjamin Reid, Rebecca Reid, Sylvia, Christina, Sofia Cabriales and Jason Lemons. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
