He is survived by: his wife Helen Joyner Newnam; his children, Jim Newnam (Loretta) of Summerfield and Cindy Newnam of Boca Raton, Florida; his grandchildren, Caitlin Newnam of Willow Spring and Joshua Newnam of Greensboro; and his sisters-in-law, Carlene Neal and Jerlene Gentry.
