He was predeceased by: his siblings, Wilbert Hobbs, Joel "Sonny" Hobbs and Lois H. Hand. He is survived by: his children, Robert William Hobbs (Amy) and Gayle Hobbs Dalton (Jason); his sisters, Lucille H. Walker of Stokesdale, Nadine H. Allen and Dare H. Tinnin of Greensboro; and his grandchildren, Jacob Dalton, Lynsey Dalton and Luke Hobbs.
