He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Lawson and Ida Clark Lawson; and his brother Jesse Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Fonville Lawson; his sons, Jamie Lawson (Gray) and John Lawson; his grandchildren, Jude Lawson and Jace Lawson; and his sisters, Brenda Fontenot (Mike) and Linda Malachuk (Richard).
