It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Elaine Mabe Haley Sutherland of Madison, North Carolina, born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemmie Mabe and Carlyne Collins Mabe; and her brothers, Franklin and Leon Mabe. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Johnson Sutherland Jr.; her sons, Anthony Haley (Debi), Jason Haley (Teresa) and Clint Haley; her grandchildren, Brandon Haley (Ashton), Vincent Haley (Monica), Shennia Marie Haley (Jeff), Harley Tucker (Zack) and Clinton Haley; her great grandchildren, Brysen, Mazeleigh Haley, Zander and Zoey Tucker; her siblings, Michael Mabe, Cindy Boyd (Rodney) and Angie Shelton (Wayne); her goddaughters, Chasity Tucker, Elizabeth Mabe and Nikki Coker; and her siblings' children, Alan Mabe, Phillip Mabe, Joyce Mabe, Serita Mabe and Bobbie Sue Mabe.
Social distancing guidelines will be observed and face coverings are encouraged.
