She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Clara Farmer Fender; her husband Maurice Melton, Sr.; her sister Joann Anders; her children, Donna Melton (Kelly) of McFarland and Maurice Melton, Jr. (Mary) of Tobaccoville; her grandsons, Benjamin Melton (Cassie) and Christopher Melton; her great grandchildren, Joanna, Emmalyn and Clifford Melton; her sisters, June Wyatt of Mars Hill and Joyce Poole of Glendale Arizona; and her brother-in-law Gene Anders of Fairview. She was also cherished by several nephews and nieces.
