It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Hamby in Madison, North Carolina, who passed away on February 16, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hancock and Etta Long; her daughter Cynthia Ball; and her siblings, Dottie Price, Mary Church, Bobby and Jimmy Hancock.

She is survived by: her sons, Vaughn Hamby (April) and Danny Hamby (Ronda); her grandchildren, Jessica, Tabitha, Bryan, Kyle Hamby, Zeth and Kayla Ball; and her great grandchildren, Haley, Maddie, Cameron, Sara and River-Willow.
