She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Amos and Leona Young Bowman; her husband Ronald Gray Knight; and her siblings, Irvin, Buddy, Jimmy, Jesse Bowman Jr., Nancy Jones and Jo Ann Neal.
She is survived by: her daughter Kristi Idol (Chris); her grandchildren, Hunter and Cassidy Idol; her sisters, Rose Montgomery, Becky Mitchell (Buddy) and Geneva Hanes (Bill); and her nephew Brian Neal (Stephanie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 3097 US 311 Hwy North, Madison, NC 27025.
