With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lena Hensley (Madison, North Carolina), who passed away on March 27, 2019 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nasby Ponder and Bessie Robinson Ponder; her husband Willard Hensley; her son David Hensley (Vinita); and her siblings, Trilby Robinson, Annette Stamey, Winnie Lou Hunter, Gertrude Hollifield, Nasby Jr., Ralph Ponder and Franklin Ponder.
She is survived by: her son Richard Hensley (Helen); and her grandchildren, Denita Chandler (Bobby), Danny Craig (Pat) and Renee Hensley. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
