She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Walter Hill and Mary Richardson Hill; her children, John Thomas Scott, Jesse Clay Scott, Elizabeth Scott Meyers and Joel Edward Scott; and her sisters, Nellie Collins, Peggy S. Barrett, Opal Hill Holt and Stella Hill Bangs.
She is survived by: her pet Jack Legs; her children, James Darrell Scott (Donna) of Havana, FL and Lynn Hill of Eden, NC; and her brother Thomas Kares Hill (Josephine). She is also survived by four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
