With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ruth Ore Lawson (Madison, North Carolina), born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on March 21, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Capus Stanley Ore and Mattie Mae Bullins Ore; her husband Caleb L. Lawson, Jr.; and her daughter Patricia L. Hipp. She is survived by: her children, Pamela L. Rigney (Roger) of Greensboro, NC, Cynthia L. Stuckey (Gary) of Madison, NC, Susan L. Bennett (Jim) of Summerfield, NC and Daryl L. Lawson of Columbia, SC; and her sisters, Linda Littlejohn and Mick Ziglar. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to The Diabetes Foundation.
