He was predeceased by: his parents, Odus Dalton and Ruby Bridwell Burry; and his siblings, Mary Irene Burry and John Hampton Burry. He is survived by: his siblings, Eula Nesbitt and Daniel Burry (Cathy); and his siblings' children, Jessica, Nathan, Wade Burry (Theresa), Earnest Ek (Sally), Stuart Ek (Frances), Christy Roberts (Chris) and Brad Nesbitt. He is also survived by 10 great nieces.
