He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Thomas Joyce and Lucy Sisk Joyce; his wife Hazel Hawkins Joyce; his son Archie Lee Joyce; his siblings, Odell, Edison, Hubert, Clarence, Earl, Paul Taylor Joyce and Treva Stanfield; and his daughter-in-law Donna Tucker Joyce.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Hennis (Jerry), Donna Ellis (Donnie), Debra Price (Jim), Jan Fulcher (Paul) and Dwain Joyce; his brother Olin Joyce (Becky); and his sister-in-law Idell Joyce. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
