It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Johnston (Madison, North Carolina), who passed away on August 8, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son John Wendell Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Hine Johnston; his sons, Timothy C. Johnston (Celia), Paul Johnston and Joey Chambers (Laura); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Albritton (Andrew), Russell Johnston, Lee Johnston, Andrew Chambers (Rachel) and Emily Chambers; and his great grandchild Malcolm Albritton.
