It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Elvin Greene (Madison, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on August 6, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Gordon Greene and Virginia McDaniel Greene; his siblings, Wilma Isenhour, Iva Carolyn Greene and Ralph Greene; and his stepmother Ruby Woodall Greene.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Apple Greene; his children, Miranda Boles (Jimmy), Tommy Greene (Wendi) and Bobby Greene; his grandchildren, Zack Boles (Cassidy), Leanna Cutchins (George), Mckenzie Greene, Sophia Greene Wilkins (Zach) and Isabella Greene; his great grandchildren, Coralynn, Anna Boles and Lucas Wilkins; and his pet Emmitt.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Eden United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 844 Eden Church Rd., Madison, NC 27025.
