He was loved and cherished by many people including: his godchild Quartet Gospel; his spouse Bishop Catherine Roberts Broadnax; his daughters, Shirley Johnson (Tommy Lee) of Stokesdale, NC and Debra Price (Bishop David) of Eden, NC; his grandchild Charminie Giles (Rodrick); his great grandchildren, Tobias Giles, Ashsa Giles and Danaja Noyola; his sisters-in-law, Christine Martin (Abe) of Axton, VA and Betty R. Thomas (Lindberg) of Stoneville, NC; and his aunt Cora Broadnax of Mayodan, NC. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and so very many friends.
