She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac "Bud" Smith and Lilla Shelton Smith; and her husband Richard William Bowser. She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Bowser Joyce (Todd); her grandchildren, Christopher Taylor (Barbara) and Heather Stewart (Chris); her great grandchildren, Trista Taylor (Brandon), Brandon Dillon (Autumn), Nichole Dillon, Casey Dillon, Colton Stewart, Alyssa Stewart and Taylor Stewart; her children, Judy Smith Joyce and Phillip Smith; and her granddaughter Monica Atkins.
